I’ve been dealing with gastro issues for about three years and in the last year I switched to Dr. Sikavi who has been extremely thorough, supportive and patient. My questions are always answered and I truly felt cared for. I work in the medical field so I know how exhausting administrative and insurance issues are, but the office has always been so helpful with any medication authorization issues. I am finally getting some relief and I do feel that I will get the care I need with my diagnosis here. I highly recommend Dr.Sikavi!

First is compassion and have the patient remained calm. If a test is concerning and you need further tests or colonoscopy etc. his calm and assuring experience is truly needed At the surgical center before the procedure he explained and after he came in and assured me all is ok At my in person follow up he said all was fine And see you in 3 years for another procedure Compassion and excellent professionalism Doesn’t get any better

I only met (virtually) with Dr. Sikavi, but there was a great rapport instantly where I felt I could trust him. His assistant Raquel is amazing as well! Very easy to talk to and very personable. I am scheduled to have my very first Colonoscopy and I’m very uneasy about it but somehow I feel like this is going to be the best experience. He laid everything out for me and answered all of my questions.

Thank you for this professional service. One thing I recommend changing is sending pre-colonoscopy eating/drinking instructions like a week before the procedure I got my email with instructions 2 days before the procedure. Instructions indicated dietary management up to 5 days prior to the procedure. For example it said not eat seeds 5 days before the procedure and when I opened that email 2 days before the procedure, I was munching in squash seeds :-)

My wife, Beverly Herman, had hip surgery Sept 8 at Cedars Sinai Hospital. Surgery went fine but starting about a week after surgery Beverly could not keep her food down. This went on for several weeks and Beverly became very weak and she began refusing to eat because about 30 minutes after eating it would come back up. The Cedar Dr. in charge of Beverly's care took me aside and told me that they had conducted all the tests they could think of so he recommended she be transferred back to the rehab facility and wait until she stopped vomiting. Dr. Sikavi came to our rescue telling us that he believes he knows the reason for Beverly's vomiting and transferred her back to Cedars and set up the test he had in mind. The test confirmed Dr. Sikavi's evaluation. Beverly was dismissed from Cedars and I decided to bring her home with 24/7 care. Dr. Sikavi ordered mediation and diet to address the slow stomach problem Beverly was experiencing. From the day Beverly came home until now, 2 months, Beverly has not vomited once and she is on the road to recovery. Beverly and I thank Dr. Sikavi for his diagnosis and healing of Beverly.
