Dr. Cameron Sikavi is a double board-certified gastroenterologist whose career is defined by clinical precision, advanced academic training, and a dedicated focus on complex digestive health issues. His approach combines the analytical rigor of a medical researcher with the attentive nature of a primary care advocate, ensuring that no symptom goes unexamined.
Elite Academic Foundation
Dr. Sikavi’s medical journey began at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he graduated with bachelor’s degrees in both history and biology, earning departmental honors and recognition on the Dean’s List. He earned his medical degree from the Robert Larner, M.D., College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, with honors, and consistently distinguished himself through academic excellence. He returned to Southern California to complete his residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, followed by a rigorous, specialized fellowship in gastroenterology at Rush University and the Cook County Medical Center in Illinois. Dr. Sikavi took it a step further and completed the Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship (which fewer than 5% of GI doctors complete) at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center to improve his endoscopy skills and learn ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound. Dr. Sikavi is double board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
